AIRSHIP 27 E-Blast #1

Welcome to the first broadcast email from the new Airship 27 Marketing Director, Michael Vance.

This first message is a request for your help.

I am now building an email address book that will be used to promote the books published by Airship 27 and their creators.

As an artist or writer for Airship, my hope is that you will send me the name(s) and (if possible) email address of any print publication (especially your home town newspaper(s)) or on-line site that you wish to receive news releases about your work. This will greatly speed up my work on creating that address book.

As an artist or writer or supporter of Airship, I ask that you consider sending out some version of what follows to personal friends who might be interested in being added to our list:

Hi (name). As a (writer, artist, fan) of the new pulp books published by Airship 27, my hope is that you'll want to be added to their email list to receive news releases from this great publisher.  If so, all you need to do is send an email to Michael Vance, their Marketing Director, asking to be added to that list. His email address is MikeVance@Yahoo.com. I also hope you'll pass this message on to any of your friends who might be interested as well.

Begun in 2004 by comic book creators, Ron Fortier and Rob Davis, Airship 27 Productions is one of the leading companies of the New Pulp Movement; a concentrated effort to keep alive the classic pulp literature of the 30s and 40s (like Doc Savage, Weird Tales, The Spider, The Shadow) while producing newer pulp themed titles by today’s brightest writers and artists. Some of their titles include: Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, Weird Horror Tales, Robin Hood, Brother Bones, and maony more.

Today the company has over sixty titles, both novels and anthologies, in their ever expanding catalog and all their new titles are available digitally via Amazon’s Kindle as well as at several other outlets. Some are available as e-books. To learn more about Airship 27 and the books they publish, go to www.airship27.blogspot.com/ or http://airship27.com/.

Thank you so much
Michael Vance
